Wellmind

The mind pillar of Indwell. Wellmind brings a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist into the home, quarterly at minimum, to keep a caring, watchful eye on the two things that fall between the cracks of a typical medical calendar: mood and cognition.

What it is

A Wellmind visit isn't a clinical exam — it's a conversation, run by a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, that happens to include a short, well-validated cognitive screening. Visits happen at least quarterly, becoming a familiar, trusted point of contact for both the client and their family.

Findings are reported directly to the client's physician, in a clear, glance-friendly format. Wellmind never diagnoses and never treats — every medical decision stays exactly where it belongs, with the physician.

Why it matters

Fear of falling and depression are themselves real fall-risk factors — not just consequences of one. Left unnoticed, they quietly shrink a person's world long before any single dramatic event forces attention. Cognitive changes follow the same pattern: gradual, easy to miss, and often only caught once they've already become serious.

A physician might see a patient once or twice a year. Wellmind exists to fill everything in between — a trusted, recurring presence that notices the small shifts early enough to matter, and makes sure the right physician hears about them.

Who's behind the visit

Every Wellmind visit is led by a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist — the most highly trained clinician of any Indwell brand — because cognitive and communication changes are exactly what SLPs are trained to notice first. It's private pay, not billed as skilled therapy, which keeps the relationship built around genuine care rather than a treatment quota.

Wellmind is next

Indwell Home Services is opening first, in November 2026. Wellmind and Indwell's other brands are in active development to follow.
